Ligularia ‘Othello’ is a classic shade perennial producing yellow-orange daisy flowers and purple-tinged foliage in part to full shade. The large, rounded leaves emerge with burgundy undersides that add depth and richness to shaded borders and woodland gardens. In midsummer, bright flower clusters rise above the foliage, attracting pollinators and adding vibrant color. This reliable cultivar performs best in consistently moist, humus-rich soil with protection from hot afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch.
