Broadway Gardens Greenhouses is a family garden center that has been helping southern Maine gardeners grow since 1950. Today we run two stores, in South Portland and Westbrook, with northern New England’s largest selection of perennials.
Growing in Maine since 1950
For more than 75 years we’ve grown and sold plants chosen for Maine’s climate, and given honest advice to go with them. Our staff are gardeners themselves, and they’re happy to help you find the right plant for your spot.
What we believe
- Plants that thrive here. We stock varieties that handle Maine winters, deer and our short season.
- Straight answers. If a plant won’t work in your yard, we’ll tell you and suggest one that will.
- Local roots. We’re proud members of the Maine Landscape and Nursery Association (MELNA).
