Ragwort; Leopard Plant ‘Little Rocket’

Ligularia ‘Little Rocket’ is a striking shade perennial featuring serrated, heart-shaped leaves and tall spikes of bright yellow flowers in part to full shade. The upright flower spires create a vertical accent in Gorham shade gardens, rising well above the handsome foliage in midsummer. This compact form of ‘The Rocket’ offers the same dramatic impact in a slightly smaller package. Plant in consistently moist, humus-rich soil with afternoon shade to prevent leaf wilt and maintain the best foliage appearance.
