Bugbane ‘Hillside Black Beauty’

Hillside Black Beauty bugbane is a towering shade perennial featuring dark purplish-black foliage and fragrant white bottlebrush blooms in full to part sun. This impressive variety can reach up to seven feet tall, making it an exceptional specimen for the back of borders or woodland gardens in Gorham. The deeply cut, almost-black leaves provide dramatic contrast throughout the season, culminating in late-summer flower spikes. Plants thrive in moist, fertile soil and appreciate consistent moisture.
