Hollyhock ‘Celebrities Purple’

Alcea ‘Celebrities Purple’ is a dwarf hollyhock that flourishes in full to part sun, producing sturdy spikes of large double rich purple flowers from early to mid-summer. This compact selection offers the beloved old-fashioned charm of traditional hollyhocks in a shorter, more manageable form perfect for containers, smaller gardens, or front borders. Gardeners in Portland value its impressive blooms and self-supporting stems that require no staking, along with its ability to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Provide well-drained soil and regular moisture during the growing season for optimal flowering and plant vigor.
