Frequently asked questions
How much does a yard of loam cover?
One cubic yard covers about 100 square feet at 3 inches deep. Use the mulch calculator for your exact area.
What’s the difference between loam and planting mix?
Loam is screened topsoil for leveling and building up beds and lawns. Planting mix blends loam with compost for richer soil in new gardens and raised beds.
Will a yard fit in my truck?
A full-size pick-up holds about a yard of soil. Smaller trucks should take less.
